Withdrawal policy

This policy explains how withdrawals from Suretiform work: the available methods, the realistic timelines, the limits that apply, the checks every request passes, and what to do if something is delayed. By using the platform you agree to this policy, and we keep it consistent with the Deposit & Withdrawal page so the two never tell different stories.

1. Introduction and your agreement

Withdrawing your money should be as simple as depositing it, and considerably better protected. This document is the complete reference for how withdrawal requests are made, verified, processed and paid, and it forms part of your relationship with the platform alongside the Terms of Use. Where any page summarises this policy, this page is the authority.

2. Available withdrawal methods

Withdrawals are paid by bank transfer (direct credit) to your New Zealand bank account, to a Visa or Mastercard card where your issuer supports it, or to your PayPal account. Withdrawals must use the same method, and the same destination within that method, that you deposited from. This "same-rail return" rule is a core anti-money-laundering protection: it ensures money leaves only to the person it arrived from, and it is why we cannot pay to a third party under any circumstances, including at your written request.

3. Processing times

After a request is approved internally, PayPal withdrawals usually reach your balance within 24 hours, while card refunds and bank transfers take one to five business days depending on your issuer and bank. Approval itself includes verification checks described below and is normally completed within one business day. Public holidays, provider cut-off times and first-time destination checks can add time, and we quote ranges rather than best cases because your planning should rest on reality.

4. Fees and charges

Suretiform charges nothing for withdrawals: no per-request fee, no percentage, no "processing charge". Third parties may apply their own costs, for example if your bank charges for receiving an inbound credit or your card issuer treats a refund differently, and those appear on the third party's statement, not ours. Every amount we show you before confirmation is the amount that leaves your account balance.

5. Withdrawal limits

The minimum withdrawal is NZ$50 per request, sized so fixed banking costs do not eat a small payout. Up to NZ$20,000 per business day can be withdrawn; larger balances are paid in consecutive daily instalments, and your manager can arrange a schedule that suits you. Newly deposited amounts may need to clear the funding provider's own settlement window before they become withdrawable, which the platform shows per transaction.

6. KYC and AML checks on withdrawals

Every withdrawal passes identity and anti-money-laundering checks: verified identity, destination matching your verified details, and monitoring screens. The first withdrawal to a new bank account triggers a short confirmation call or in-platform confirmation. Enhanced checks apply to unusually large amounts or unusual patterns, and if they do, we tell you what we need and why, within the limits the law allows us to explain.

7. Why a withdrawal can be delayed or declined

A request can be held or declined for reasons that are almost always fixable: verification documents that are expired, unreadable or inconsistent; a destination that does not match your verified identity; a deposit still inside its provider settlement window; an open compliance question requiring enhanced due diligence; a technical fault at a payment provider; or a regulatory obligation such as a reporting requirement that must be completed first. We notify you of the reason and the fix in the platform and by email, and a declined request never damages the balance it came from.

8. Your responsibility for accurate details

The bank account number, card and PayPal account you withdraw to must be in your own name and entered exactly. Because payments to a correctly entered verified destination cannot be recalled once released, an error on your side can mean a payment that takes weeks to chase through your bank. Check the destination each time; the ten seconds is cheaper than the ten days.

9. Cancelling or changing a request

You can cancel or amend a withdrawal request yourself while its status is "Pending", from the withdrawal screen. Once a request moves to "Processing" it is already with the payment provider and can no longer be changed; if you need the funds back on the platform at that point, wait for settlement and deposit again, which is free. If you cancel in error, simply submit a fresh request; there is no fee and no limit on the number of requests.

10. Support for withdrawal questions

For anything about a withdrawal, past or pending, email [email protected] with your request reference. The support team answers during Monday to Friday, 9:00–17:30 NZST, usually within one business hour, and can see every status change on your request in real time. Requests older than the quoted timelines are escalated automatically, and you can invoke the Complaints process at any point if you believe a request has been handled wrongly.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in payment providers, applicable requirements or platform features. Every change is announced in the platform and on this page before it takes effect, the effective date sits at the top of the document history, and the version in force when you made a request is the version that governs it. Materially unfavourable changes never apply retroactively to requests already submitted.
