Frequently asked questions
Answers to what new and prospective members ask most, grouped by theme. Each answer is written to stand alone, and each links to the page with the full story where one exists. If your question is missing, email [email protected] and we will answer it directly.
General use
People who want their capital working more actively than in a traditional account, without spending evenings over charts. Members range from complete beginners to experienced investors who simply prefer automation. New Zealand residency and being 18 or over are the practical entry requirements.
A registration form, an identity document for verification, and from NZ$400 for the Basic plan. No trading experience is required and there is no monthly fee. Your personal manager helps with each step, starting with a call within 24 hours of registering.
Yes. The platform runs in a modern mobile browser with a layout designed for small screens, and alerts arrive by email wherever you are. Everything available on desktop, from dashboards to withdrawal requests, works on mobile.
Yes. Suretiform strategies operate on the connected account you designate, and many members keep their own manual activity separate. The connection scope you grant controls exactly what the platform can touch, and you can revoke it at any time.
Getting started
The form itself takes about two minutes. Identity verification is usually cleared within one business day, often within the hour, depending on document quality. The Getting Started guide walks through every step with timings.
Your manager confirms who you are, asks about your goals and loss tolerance, explains the plan options in plain words, and helps with verification and your first deposit if you choose to make one. It is a working conversation, not a sales pitch, and you can have a second call before deciding anything.
Fees and results
No monthly fee and no account opening or maintenance fee. The trading commission is up to 0.58% per transaction, currency conversion up to 1.50%, and deposits and withdrawals are free from our side. The Fees & Pricing page lists every figure.
Your dashboard lists each transaction with its commission, and the monthly report totals them. If a figure ever looks wrong, support will trace it against the fee schedule with you line by line.
We do not promise returns, and you should distrust anyone who does. Strategy history, shown in the platform, gives context, not forecasts; results depend on markets, settings and period, and losses occur. Treat the calculator's projection as an illustration of mechanics, not a target.
Platform features
Market scanning, signal generation from the analysis models, order execution to your guardrails, and reporting all run without you. The volatility pause can halt strategies when conditions turn extreme. You decide what runs, at what size, and can stop anything at any time.
Yes. Strategies, markets, exposure caps, alert thresholds and notifications are all individually configurable. Members who prefer fewer decisions start with a preconfigured profile and adjust later; members who want control can set everything themselves.
Security, verification and withdrawal alerts cannot be switched off, because they protect your money. Market and summary notifications are configurable, from immediate to weekly digest, and can be muted entirely without losing any platform function.
Deposits and withdrawals
Bank transfer (direct credit), Visa, Mastercard and PayPal, all in New Zealand dollars and free from our side. Deposits arrive instantly to within 3 business days depending on method; the full table with timings is on the Deposit & Withdrawal page.
Request from your dashboard; withdrawals return through the method you deposited with, to your own verified account. PayPal usually settles within 24 hours, cards and bank transfers take 1–5 business days. Minimum NZ$50, and free from our side.
No. There is no minimum term and no exit fee. Available balance can be withdrawn at any time; amounts still inside an open position settle when the position closes, which is normally quick but depends on the strategy.
Risks
Yes. Every strategy is exposed to market movement, and you can lose part or all of the amount you invest. Automation manages execution, not risk away; the Risk Disclosure describes the ten risk areas honestly.
It halts strategies when market conditions exceed the extreme thresholds you set, then resumes when conditions normalise. It reduces exposure during the wildest moves, but it cannot prevent losses before or after the pause, and we never present it as a guarantee of safety.
No, and any service claiming otherwise should be avoided. Risks can be sized, spread and paused, but market, liquidity, technical and counterparty risks always exist in some measure. Our job is to manage them transparently, yours is to fund only what you can afford to risk.
Security and account
Encryption in transit and at rest, optional-but-recommended two-factor authentication, login alerts for new devices, session control, withdrawal verification and a tamper-evident audit history. The Security page explains all nine layers in plain language.
Withdrawals require your authenticated request, your verified destination and, for the first payout to a new account, a confirmation from you. Connection keys we use never carry withdrawal rights. Nobody at Suretiform can direct your balance to a third party, by design.
Recovery runs through identity verification with the compliance team and a cooling-off period before sensitive changes, so a criminal cannot "recover" your account away from you. Write your 2FA recovery codes on paper when you enable 2FA and recovery becomes straightforward.
Help and support
Pause the affected strategy, screenshot what you see, and email [email protected] with your account email. Support answers during Auckland working hours, usually within one business hour, and never charges for helping.
Your manager introduces themselves on the first call and stays your named contact afterwards. If the fit is not right, ask for a different manager and we will arrange one without friction or awkwardness; the relationship should work for you.
