Fraud warning

Our company takes every piece of information and every suspicion related to fraudulent activity seriously. From time to time we identify companies and websites that use our name, or names confusingly similar to it, without permission. This can mislead people and spread false information about our company and its services, and it is the reason this notice exists.

Why we publish this page

Fraudsters imitate brands that people already trust, because trust is the hardest thing to fake and the easiest thing to borrow. Naming the tactic publicly, and telling you exactly how we do and do not communicate, is the most effective protection we can offer. We created this notice so that anyone, customer or stranger, can verify they are dealing with the real Suretiform in under a minute.

Cloned companies

If you suspect you are dealing with a clone using our brand, name or logo, do not share any personal information with it, break off contact, and notify us immediately by email at [email protected] with the website address, phone number or social profile involved. We work continuously to identify cloned companies, and we want to stress that some may remain unidentified for a period of time. Everyone should verify the legitimacy of any company they deal with online before sharing personal data or entering a business relationship.

How to verify you are dealing with us

  • The website address in your browser is exactly suretiform.org, with a valid security certificate, before you enter any details.
  • Email from us comes only from addresses ending in @suretiform.org.
  • Our staff never ask for your password, one-time codes, or remote control of your device, and never ask you to move money to a "safe account", a phrase no legitimate financial business uses.
  • We never cold-call with an urgent investment deadline. Our calls follow a registration you made, and you can hang up and call us back through the official contact details on this site.
  • Payments to fund your account appear in the platform with a reference code; if a "representative" instructs you to send money to a personal bank account, it is fraud, full stop.

What we know, and what we cannot control

The limits of what we can control

We are aware of cases of improper use

We are aware of cases of improper use of our name and of personal data impersonating our staff for fraudulent purposes, which we cannot influence or control. While we sincerely regret the financial losses suffered by anyone affected, our company is not liable for fraudulent operations carried out in our name by third parties. That is precisely why this page asks you to verify first and act second.

If you have already shared details or money with a suspected clone: contact your bank immediately to attempt a payment recall, change passwords you reused elsewhere, and report the matter to New Zealand Police and to Netsafe, the national reporting point for online fraud. Then tell us what happened, so we can warn others and assist investigators with records where we legitimately can.
