Regulation and compliance in New Zealand

Suretiform operates within the New Zealand regulatory framework governing services related to digital assets and other financial assets, including applicable national requirements for client onboarding, identity verification and complaint handling.

Jurisdiction Regulator Registration / regulatory basis
New Zealand Financial Markets Authority (FMA) Complies with applicable requirements of the Financial Markets Conduct Act for client onboarding, identity verification, fair dealing and complaint handling. Registration details are confirmed with the relevant provider on request.
New Zealand, anti-money-laundering supervision AML/CFT supervisors for reporting entities (Department of Internal Affairs) Complies with applicable requirements of the Anti-Money Laundering and Countering Financing of Terrorism Act 2009 for customer due diligence, record keeping and reporting, as applicable to the services provided.

Transparency in regulatory matters

Suretiform maintains the registrations, permissions and compliance procedures required for the services it provides in each relevant jurisdiction. Because the platform connects members with third-party liquidity and service providers, details of the provider behind a specific service are disclosed during onboarding, and registration details are confirmed with the relevant provider on request.

What regulation does, and does not, mean for you

Operating within a regulatory framework means Suretiform follows the applicable requirements for how clients are onboarded, how identities are verified, how money is handled and how complaints are resolved. It does not remove investment risk and does not promise any particular result. Digital assets remain volatile instruments, and the value of any portfolio can fall as well as rise, including the loss of some or all of the capital you invest.

Before you deposit anything, we encourage you to read the Risk Disclosure, understand the fees that apply, and ask our team any question you have about how the platform works. Transparency is a two-way street: we tell you plainly what we do, and we ask you to invest only money you could afford to have at risk.
